Also- their bike policy is paradoxical.
I was thinking about bike riding yesterday after a particularly
enjoyable ride home from work & decided that the only better time to
ride your bike other than when it is snowy is in the hours of 2-5 am
in the middle of summer.
The snow ride is amazing because (if properly rigged up) it is the
safest time to ride. People are so freaked, they concentrate really
hard on avoided any danger. Plus, they generally drive very slow.
My biggest fear on my bike is people driving 90 up my ass and leaving
me 2-3 inches in between the car next to me and their death machine.
Riding summer nights was the biggest thing I missed this summer in NY.
I really don't know of a greater non-sexual feeling than riding with a
crew through the streets downtown with no cars in sight.
